Harmony Youth Project was established in May 2001 by a group of likeminded individuals who firmly believed that young people needed a focus in order to detract from negative behaviour. We are a non profit making voluntary organisation.
A group of professional artistes did a borough wide consultation with young people aged 13 âââ‰â¬Å 21. After the consultation we realised that young people where really into performing arts. We then offered the following activities.

These activities proved so popular, that they sometimes became over-subscribed. In December 2003 Harmony moved from its base at Hibbert Street to new premises in Wordsworth Trading Estate Halliwell.
Harmony has rapidly grown as an organisation and now works in partnership with both statutory and voluntary organisations throughout the borough of Bolton and is proud to have delivered many live performances and events where young people take centre stage. The focus of our training is empowering young people and helping them to gain skills that they can take and use in life as well as further education and employment.
